Daniel & Pada Merillat Give Now

Since August 2003 Dan and Pada Merillat have been serving as long-term missionaries with Global Partners in beautiful Thailand. Their vision is to help bring hope to the millions of people in Thailand who have never heard of Jesus.

Dan was born in Traverse City, Michigan, grew up on a fruit farm, and attended the Bayview Wesleyan Church. At the age of 13, he accepted Jesus. He studied at Michigan Technological University, Michigan State University, and Asbury Theological Seminary.

Pada was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and grew up as a Buddhist. At 15, her best friend became a Christian. Pada began attending church with her. For the first time Pada heard that God was love. At 16, she accepted Jesus. She studied at Assumption Commercial College, Assumption University, and Asbury Theology Seminary. After 26 years of prayer, her mom miraculously accepted Jesus at age 70.

The Merillats partner with Thai believers in church planting, friendship evangelism, human trafficking ministries, mentoring, equipping, teaching, and preaching.

Dan and Pada have two children: Samuel ('99) and Benjamin ('00).

All of this is from God, who reconciled us to himself . . . and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: . . . We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us (2 Corinthians 5:18, 20 NIV).
