Geoff & Carrie Jo Cain Give now

The West African Ebola outbreak of 2014-2016 changed many things, including the plans for Global Partners missionaries Geoff and Carrie Jo (Kinde) Cain who were appointed in 2014 to serve with the staff at Kamakwie Wesleyan Hospital in Sierra Leone. As part of the Ebola response in October 2014, Carrie Jo, a registered nurse, was seconded to World Hope International. Geoff and Rebecca, their youngest child, joined her in September 2015, and they live in Makeni, Sierra Leone.

Carrie Jo is helping develop World Hope International’s health programs, from the Ebola response and its aftermath to maternal/child health issues. This brings opportunities to work with many different groups, and through these relationships, God opens doors to share Jesus.

Geoff volunteers on several projects with World Hope International, including medication distribution and guest house operations. He also assists and advises Carrie Jo on a variety of tasks. Most importantly, he is the primary tutor of Rebecca.
