Brittany Gormong Give now
From the age of twelve, Brittany knew she was called to serve the Lord through missions. She had the honor and privilege of growing up in a Christian household and in a church family with a strong belief in supporting missionary work all across the globe. As a 2015 graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University, Brittany anticipated settling down in a comfortable public elementary school setting to get her feet wet as a new teacher. Instead, the Lord placed her on a Native American School reservation for two years where she was challenged to show God’s love to her students in a local community setting.
She has now accepted the opportunity to be a GO-Net Volunteer teacher on the island of La Gonave, Haiti, for the upcoming school year and will work alongside the Churchill family as well as other members of the GP team. God has called her to be obedient to the calling He placed on her life years ago and now it is coming to fruition.
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” – 2 Corinthians 9:8
