Ken & Robin Jewett
Ken was raised in New Brunswick, Canada, and Robin, as a Wesleyan pastor’s daughter, was raised across the western United States. Both committed their lives to Christ at an early age and determined to live a life of surrender and openness to wherever God would lead.
Ken attended Kingswood University (BA), Trevecca Nazarene University (MBA), and Indiana Wesleyan University (MAM), and he has pastored churches in Indiana, Michigan, and Tennessee. Robin attended Indiana Wesleyan University (BS) and Trevecca Nazarene University (MSM), and she has taught and practiced as a physician assistant in several specialties.
In 2012 Ken and Robin welcomed into their home Palmer (’04) and Adeline (’06), adopted from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their adoption transformed their hearts for God’s kingdom in Africa. In 2014 Global Partners appointed the Jewetts as long-term missionaries to Africa. They will be training and mentoring English- and French-speaking pastors, and providing medical care to the underserved in northern Ghana.
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:16-18 NIV).
Sorry, this missionary has no events planned at this time.
