Amplifying local church mission for global transformation
Global Partners Vision
play a part
Everyone who hears
can be made new
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; & you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, & in all Judea & Samaria, & to the ends of the earth.Every local church has a mission to reach their here… & the near & far & hard places in the world. Global Partners gives global focus to the mission of The Wesleyan Church with the express purpose of seeing Acts 1:8 become your reality.
We exist to serve the Church. That means that we spend time listening and getting to know you and your specific church—your passions and areas of focus—and then connect you with the projects and partnerships that resonate with how God is leading. We’ll help you develop a comprehensive mission plan, engaging your here and near as well as the far and hard that will expand the reach of the mission God has entrusted to you.
When we each play our part—whether individuals or churches—the results are much more beautiful than all of us playing solo. You may end up leaving your current life behind to respond to God’s leading … or you may support those who do. No matter what part you play, we truly believe in the power of interdependence…and that belief flows through everything we do.
Sure, a great song can deliver a great moment. But then it’s over. Too often, churches engage in mission projects that deliver a great one-time experience for the team, but don’t address long-term issues in the communities around the world where they go to serve.
We weave the ongoing rhythms of sustainability and reproducibility into our work so that the missional impact goes on and on.
This is why we do what we do—to see people and communities made new. When people truly hear and experience the power of the good news of Jesus, they have the chance to respond and experience new life. Lives are changed from the inside out, churches spring up to disciple and equip, communities move from despair to hope, leaders mobilize believers to serve and restore the broken–nations are transformed.
Strategies for amplifying mission
We provide a wide range of global mission resources for churches and individuals, including mission team preparation and debriefing training, financial systems to ensure accountability and effectiveness, and the Amplify Mission library.
We offer Strategic Mission Coaching, a collaborative consulting process designed to help your church achieve clarity, alignment, effectiveness, and measurability in achieving the mission. We also offer Personal Mission Coaching, designed to help individuals find how God has uniquely equipped them to engage.
We provide clear pathways for churches and individuals to experience global mission effectiveness by praying specifically, giving generously, going willingly, and networking purposefully.
We are relentlessly motivated to partner with God to see hearts truly changed around the world—lives that are being transformed. And, we’re regularly amazed at how we are being changed in the process—our way of living is transforming us, too.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17
We are intensely focused on relationships that deliver Kingdom results—relationships that work. And, we’re constantly developing our circle of missional relationships—working on relationships.
Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.
1 THESSALONIANS 2:8
We are completely organized around teams that are growing, passionately inspiring individual and collective development. And, we’re fundamentally committed to reminding each other how important “team” is—growing the value of teams.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
We are fiercely intentional about developing strategies that expand the Church—strategies that expand. And, we’re continually questioning the strategies of the past, looking for new and more effective ways to share the love and message of Jesus—expanding our strategies.
It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known…“Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.”
We are wholeheartedly obsessed with seeing Global Churches move into new areas of their community, region and regions around the world—a Church that’s advancing. And, we’re persistently spreading the idea that the Church is God’s chosen strategy to transform people and the world—advancing the approach of Church.
I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
We celebrate stories of joy-filled, fully surrendered living—stories of giving our lives away for the global mission, just as Christ gave His life for the world.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
We look for partnerships that are both relational and strategic. Relational means regular, ongoing contact. Strategic means a long-term investment with a clear aim in mind.
Regardless of where your mailing address says you live, we all joyfully leverage all our resources for the sake of the mission.
As a result of partnering with Global Partners, your church will play a key role in more stories—stories of personal transformation and stories of the transformed being gathered into newly planted church communities.
As the gospel takes root in an area, we are eager to turn over responsibility and authority to well-equipped national leaders. We are continually working ourselves out of a job.
Stated, “Churches to the fifth power reproduced.” Global Partners’ missiology seeks to move each field through five phases—the fifth and final phase being “Reaching Beyond.” A CHURCH is not only “grown up” enough to be self-supporting, but it is also parenting new works by sending missionaries.
We are convinced that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to transform lives, families, communities, and entire nations. Historians tell us that the Wesleyan revival transformed 18th century England, saving it from the bloody revolution France experienced. We believe God can use us in our day to see nations made new.
