Dear Partners in Mission,
Thank you for your generous partnership in the gospel. It’s because of you—our partners—that we are able to see the mission advance.
I continue to be challenged by the fact that 4 out of 10 people globally live without access to the gospel! They live without a church in their community. Many do not even have the Scriptures in their language. As the global population continues to grow, so does the gospel gap. In fact, today that gap includes over 3 billion people—more than eight times the population of the United States and Canada combined.
The Apostle Paul’s words in his letter to the church at Rome nearly 2000 years ago ring especially true today:
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” (Romans 10:14-15 NLT).
The situation is critical and urgent. We must go. We must send.
And we have the news that is truly good—that in Jesus Christ, God has made a way for every lost person in the world to be found. What an opportunity!
As you read this update, may you be filled with holy urgency—and with deep hope. Let us partner together as messengers who bring the good news.
In H+S Service,
Dr. Dennis Jackson
