Jim & Lori Rice

Jim and Lori started to sense God’s call to global missions while taking part in numerous short-term trips to Latin America. After a fact-finding trip in 2010, God’s call was made clear. Jim and Lori knew Ecuador was where they were to go. They first moved to Costa Rica for language school in 2011, and they have lived in Guayaquil, Ecuador, since 2013.

Jim and Lori minister in their community while giving support, encouragement, and leadership to the Ecuadorian pastors, churches, and Global Partners missionary team. Lori leads numerous neighborhood Bible studies and ESL classes in their home. Jim serves as the Mission Director and has also accepted the role of Missionary Team Leader for the Ibero-America Area.

Their vision is to see The Wesleyan Church in Ecuador grow into a movement of disciples making disciples thus fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10 NIV).

. . . so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others (Romans 12:5 NIV).
