After traveling to Guyana on a short-term mission trip, Angie soon felt God calling her to full-time ministry in Guyana. In 2006 she began giving leadership in a home for orphaned children. Then in 2010 she began serving in a squatter community that is home to more than 100 orphans and vulnerable children. Global Partners appointed Angie to serve as a long-term missionary in Guyana in 2013. God added a daughter, Subrena, into Angie’s life and home to love as her own in 2015. Angie rejoices in all that God is doing in and through Subrena and through their lives as family.
Angie’s vision is to develop leaders of all ages and to give the vulnerable a voice. She teaches mission-minded nationals at the Wesleyan Bible College and brings light to those who live in a community of shadowy oppression.
