Technology for Ministry Innovation (Myanmar)

The Wesleyan Church of Myanmar is growing and thriving mostly in the northern mountainous region of the country.  Many of these churches and pastors are located in places that are very difficult to travel to and from. To overcome this problem of remoteness their church leaders have adopted a plan to embrace computer/internet technology in order to more effectively communicate with their pastors and to provide them with needed ministry resources. However, the churches that are most remote and stand to gain the most from this plan are also the very churches that cannot afford to provide their mostly young pastors with the equipment they need.  It is estimated that the Myanmar church needs about 35 laptop computers and maybe half that many printers to implement this forward thinking project.
