In October 2014, the Wesleyan University of Haiti, School of Nursing Sciences launched with veteran missionary nurse Dr. Janice Cotrone as the Dean. The school is fully accredited by the government of Haiti and has received a prestigious ten-year commendation from USAID (United States Agency for International Development) as one of the top schools of nursing in the country. Graduates of the rigorous four-year liberal arts program will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, and they qualify to sit for registered nurse licensing exams. They will deliver high-quality, competent, compassionate care in the name of Jesus, elevating healthcare outcomes across the country. The cost is $2500 USD/year which includes tuition, textbooks, uniform, and supplies.  Students pay a portion, yet full and partial scholarships are needed.
