Widows and Orphans Outreach — Haiti

WM06-1275 | Compassion, Medical, National Church

With no extended family to care for their needs, Haitian widows and orphans are the most vulnerable members of society. Poverty among this social group continues to rise, especially considering the current economic crisis which has caused food prices to double in the last four months. This project will assist our Wesleyan hospital and local churches to care for the physical needs of widows and orphans in their communities—providing food, shelter and medicine.
