Isaac & Amy Thompson
Isaac grew up as an MK (missionary kid) in Zambia and Russia. From a young age he felt called to be a missionary. He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in education with the goal of being able to use them to work with missionary kids and youth overseas.
Amy started to feel a call to missions while in college where she earned both her B.S degree in business administration and her Master of Accountancy degree. Amy was not sure how God would use her accounting skills, but she felt compelled to be obedient to God by pursuing His call on her life.
After waiting patiently for God’s call, they became long-term missionaries to Ecuador in 2012. There they find their strength is working one-on-one with people. It is their goal to see people trained and ready to be in positions of leadership within the church. They desire to see those they have daily contact with either deepen in their faith or make the initial decision to become Christ followers.
. . . let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth (1 John 3:18 NIV).
