Global Marketplace Missions Training: Empowering You for Cross-Cultural Ministry
Is your work taking you abroad or would you like to live and work in another country, becoming intentional about integrating your faith and work and making disciples? If so, Global Marketplace Multipliers (GMM) recommends the Global Marketplace Missions Training. GMM has its own training for those being prepared by Global Partners (GP) for marketplace work in another country, but that training focuses on matters like your identity in Christ and your cross-cultural influence—areas GP has extensive experience in. But the Global Marketplace Missions Training offered by Upstream Collective is focused specifically on your work and how God can use that not only for access to a country, but also your influence through your work.
Wherever you plan to work, live, or study abroad, this training seeks to empower individuals to intentionally share the gospel through non-traditional avenues. If you are in professions such as engineering, medicine, education, finance, or business startups and seek to incorporate your faith into your work overseas. This program will guide you on how to effectively live out The Great Commission in a cross-cultural setting.
If you work in fields such as engineering, medicine, education, finance, or business startups, and wish to integrate your faith into your professional life abroad, we invite you to join our partner Upstream Collective’s Global Marketplace Missions Training. This training will teach you how to fulfill The Great Commission while living and working in another culture.
The next dates for this training are on four consecutive Wednesdays, starting on September 4th and continuing on the 11th, 18th, and 25th from 12 pm to 2:30 pm EDT. Most sessions feature live presenters via Zoom Web Conferencing, offering interactive engagement with experienced speakers and fellow participants.
Registration is now open for the September 2024 session. Spaces are limited to ensure maximum participation, so early registration is encouraged. This training is particularly beneficial for professionals currently working internationally, those planning to move overseas, and church mission leaders who support global marketplace workers.
