From Everywhere to Everywhere: Updates from Philippines’ Ministries in Italy

“For I am about to do something new.” — Isaiah 43:19

After two years, I had the privilege of returning to Italy to visit our mission works, and truly, the Lord has been doing something new among His people.

On February 22, 2026, I was honored to serve as the guest speaker for the ninth Anniversary of Bologna Wesleyan Church. It was a remarkable and historic gathering, as Evangelical churches across the area came together in unity. Around 240 people attended, and many shared that it was the first time believers in Bologna experienced such a powerful sense of unity in worship. From the singing to the preaching, we felt the presence of the Lord, and many testified of how God touched their lives.

I also visited my relatives in Padova. During my previous visit, we simply shared a meal and prayed. This time, however, we worshiped through singing, I shared the Word of God, and we prayed together. It was a meaningful time of spiritual connection, and we rejoiced in the opportunity to reach out to family.

In Milan, I spent three full days ministering despite a very tight schedule. The Lord allowed me to help address some minor leadership concerns, bringing peace and unity among the members. During their revival services, God moved mightily—many responded in prayer, and several came forward in surrender. It was encouraging to witness the passion and harmony among the members, from children to adults, serving the Lord together like one big family.

I also introduced the “One Verse Evangelism” method as a simple tool for sharing the gospel. We are hopeful that God will use this to open new doors for outreach and growth in the church.

Unexpectedly, my return flight was canceled due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, extending my stay in Italy by another week. While unplanned, this became a divine opportunity. I was able to spend more time listening, counseling and praying with individuals. It became clear that God was not yet finished with the work.

During this extended time, we also began to seek God’s direction for future ministry. There is a growing vision to plant new churches in cities such as Paris, Padova and Rome. Though the task ahead is great, we are confident that with God, all things are possible.

We continue to hold on to His promise: “For I am about to do something new.” To God be the glory!
