NEXT: CROSSING BARRIERS. BUILDING BRIDGES. MAKING DISCIPLES.

NEXT, newly created by Global Partners, has its inaugural launch this summer in June and July. Sixteen interns will be placed at one of the initial four sites.

NEXT is a mission pathway designed to help young adults explore who they are in God’s mission. It is an experience planned to equip interns for lifelong global engagement through mentored cross-cultural immersion. NEXT interns, recruited by NEXT Mobilizer Jackie Fussner, will engage in discipleship and build biblical, missiological, and spiritual strength that will equip them for life and ministry—no matter their future geographic locations.

THROUGH NEXT, INTERNS CAN FIND OR FINE TUNE THEIR CALLING.

The interns will be stationed at one of four pioneer church planting locations: Central Europe, Eastern Europe, the Turkic-Arabic area, or Waha. Each site will have a designated site leader coached by Dina Horne, NEXT Site Developer. According to Dina, the interns will develop communication skills, build community, and engage with mentors to gain clarity for their next steps. Dina stated that through NEXT, interns can find or fine tune their calling.”

The vision of NEXT is to see that each participant will leave a better disciple-maker and will lead with a global mindset through ongoing participation in the Kingdom. The hope is that this initiative will play a part in becoming a global multiplication movement that moves people from everywhere to everywhere.
